SOLIDWORKS Missing Cosmetic Threads
If your part is not showing the cosmetic threads, chances are it is a bug. To fix the bug, do the following go to
options>document properties>detailing>disable cosmetic threads and shaded cosmetic threads (if they are enabled)>click ok
Repeat the steps above but this time
reenable cosmetic threads and shaded cosmetic threads and click ok.

With your sketch open, click on Sketch > Shaded Sketch Contours

You can solve this problem by first clicking on Unconfigure Products and CADs and unconfiguring the CAD. This should reset the software configuration. Only then follow the steps in the blog post above.
