Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a tip that I've found helpful in optimizing my CAD/CAE software performance: using Revo Uninstaller to remove unwanted programs and their associated files.
As many of us know, simply uninstalling a program through the standard Windows uninstaller doesn't always remove all the associated files and registry entries, which can clog up our systems and slow down our software. This is where Revo Uninstaller comes in - it's a free software that does a much more thorough job of removing programs and their remnants.
After downloading and installing Revo Uninstaller, simply run the program and select the program you want to uninstall. Revo Uninstaller will then run a scan to identify any leftover files and registry entries and give you the option to remove them all.
I've found that using Revo Uninstaller has helped to free up space on my hard drive, reduce clutter in my system, and ultimately improve my CAD/CAE software performance.
I highly recommend giving it a try and seeing if it makes a difference for you too. Here's a link to download the free version: https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo-uninstaller-free-download/?affChecked=1
Let me know if you have any questions or other tips for optimizing CAD/CAE software performance.
Happy designing!

Here is an example of how I use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall Adobe Acrobat (steps below work for any other software as well!)
Step 1: Open Revo Uninstaller and select Adobe Acrobat from the list of installed programs.
Step 2: Click continue when the program asks if you like to uninstall the selected program.
Step 3: Click next on the acrobat setup page.
Step 4: Click Remove to uninstall the application.
Step 5: The program will start uninstalling.
Step 6: Click advance in Revo Uninstaller and click scan.
Step 7: This will show a list of things leftover on your PC... click select all and delete which will then delete all the leftover stuff.
Step 8: Click next and it will show even more leftover stuff... Select all and delete again and then click finish.
And you are all done! Your PC is as good as new!
