Oh that’s a good question! You can create a part in context of an assembly. Solidworks allows you to create parts inside the assembly itself. Basically, instead of opening your Arduino as a part file and going between two part files back and forth, you can open the A. Uno as an assembly file. Then inside the assembly file click on the arrow next to Insert Component and click New Part. You can then create the part (enclosure) using the Uno as a reference without needing to measure its dimensions. Here’s a video example:

There are a few ways to save on memory. 1) Can try creating sub-assemblies and saving them as a part (e.g. the turrets) 2) Can also try Large Design Review mode (I have embedded the video here. To activate it go to the 1:11 mark) Option no.2 is very effective in dealing with huge amounts of parts and is designed to help laptop GPUs. Regarding getting rid of the wire-like diagrams thingy, it should disappear after you click render.

I think it is an issue with Nvidia's driver. I could still use SOLIDWORKS Visualize earlier this year, but ever since I updated the driver, Visualize has stopped working for me as well. I am also using a 3000 series Nvidia GPU as well. You can try this hotfix driver that Nvidia released and see if it does anything: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5450 While waiting for an update the best we can do right now is to use Photoview 360 to render or use the uni PC and run Visualize. Unless anyone found a solution to bypass this we are stuck waiting for a patch. The good news is, it is not your hardware 😂

This can trigger a warning, but you can still proceed with the sketch/extrusion. To address a warning, you can typically edit the sketch or feature associated with the warning by selecting the icon next to it. To resolve the warning, you may need to delete or modify elements such as lines, circles, squares, dimensions, or relationships. BTW if you still want to use Solidworks on Mac, there are 2 possible works rounds: 1) use MOVE 2) use Parallels 18 (have to pay for the software)

I think this error only occurs because Mac uses a different directory from Windows 🤪
