For those of you that still cannot import your CAD into ANSYS even though you hava followed the steps in the post here: https://www.senpaicorner.com/post/how-to-import-solidworks-part-assembly-files-into-ansys You can solve this problem by first clicking on Unconfigure Products and CADs and unconfiguring the CAD. This should reset the software configuration. Only then follow the steps in the blog post above.

Welcome back to our student forum! In Part 2 of our CAD series, we're excited to showcase the incredible creativity of our students through their imaginative and unique CAD designs, which include battleships and colosseums made from LEGO bricks in SOLIDWORKS. Throughout this post, we'll highlight the most artistic and innovative CAD designs created by our students, including these incredible LEGO brick creations. We'll dive deep into the details that make each design stand out and explore the creative process behind each one. As you explore these designs, you'll see firsthand the incredible talent and boundless creativity of our students as they push the limits of what's possible with CAD. We hope that their work will inspire you to approach your own CAD designs with a fresh perspective and encourage you to explore your own creativity. So, join us on this exciting journey through the world of CAD and get ready to be amazed by the endless creativity of our students! 2014 Another award-winning design by Uncle Howgen! He created a batcycle design that spells his name when viewed from the side. 2015 Later designs that took inspiration from the previous year and improved on it! 2016 A move to the future. 2018 Back to the good old days! 2019 A unique design that moved away from vehicle-inspired themes to an entire ecosystem! 2020 A nice catamaran design! 2021 Our students are taking their designs to the next level, exploring new frontiers in the world of CAD. From undersea kingdoms to soaring skies, their creativity knows no bounds. And with nods to various cultural influences, our students are creating truly unique and impressive designs that showcase their skills and imagination. We're proud to have such talented "men of culture" in our midst! 2022 PLEASE SEND HELP 😆

In this post, we'll take a look back at some of the most impressive CAD designs from the past eight years. We'll explore the unique features and details that make each design stand out. So, let's dive in and take a trip down memory lane to appreciate the best of the best CAD tasks from 2014 to 2022. 2014 Simple and creative design created using multiple layers of extrusion and changing the appearance of the final layer to "glass" and rendering using PhotoView 360. 2015 A very unique design with a deeper meaning... Interpretation varies depending on the state of your mental health 2016 Clever blending of 3D CAD with a 2D wallpaper. The 3D model (cube) seamlessly "floats'' in between the 2D hands. 2018 Another clever blending of the background with the 3D model. Can you guess which is the CAD model/s? Good lighting choice and camera angle as the image of the table is clearly refracted in the bottle. Reflection of the background can be seen on the surface of the bottle as well. 2019 Most likely done by a mechanical engineer... 2020 A simple and attractive design of a box with cutouts of the student's initials. The clever bit lies in the light source being placed inside the box. The lights emanating from inside create a silhouette of the initials on the ground around the model. Created using SOLIDWORKS Visualize. 2021 Pure man of culture stuff. Enough said. 2022 Another design that plays with shadows and lighting. Good stuff.

Hi everyone, I wanted to share a tip that I've found helpful in optimizing my CAD/CAE software performance: using Revo Uninstaller to remove unwanted programs and their associated files. As many of us know, simply uninstalling a program through the standard Windows uninstaller doesn't always remove all the associated files and registry entries, which can clog up our systems and slow down our software. This is where Revo Uninstaller comes in - it's a free software that does a much more thorough job of removing programs and their remnants. After downloading and installing Revo Uninstaller, simply run the program and select the program you want to uninstall. Revo Uninstaller will then run a scan to identify any leftover files and registry entries and give you the option to remove them all. I've found that using Revo Uninstaller has helped to free up space on my hard drive, reduce clutter in my system, and ultimately improve my CAD/CAE software performance. I highly recommend giving it a try and seeing if it makes a difference for you too. Here's a link to download the free version: https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo-uninstaller-free-download/?affChecked=1 Let me know if you have any questions or other tips for optimizing CAD/CAE software performance. Happy designing!
